Mystical Kerala Tour Duration: 7 Nights / 8 Days Day 01: Arrive Cochin (35 km/1
hour) Our representative at the Cochin International Airport or the city
railway station welcomes you on arrival and escorts you to the hotel. Relax for
a while and leave for a post-lunch tour to Mystical Kerala starting with a visit
to Cochin Harbor. Proceed to Fort Cochin where you would be taken on a guided
sightseeing tour to Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese
Fishing Nets and more. Spend the remaining day at leisure and return to hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 02:Cochin - Munnar (150 km/4.5 hours)
Check
out post-breakfast and leave for Munnar, the picturesque hill station in Mystical
Kerala. The breathtaking views of lush cardamom hills and tea plantations on the
way would leave you awestruck. Check into the hotel/resort at Munnar on arrival.
Rest of the day is free to enjoy nature treks through the estate or to relax in
its scenic surroundings. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Munnar Early
morning, leave for a full day guided sightseeing tour through Munnar. Start with
a visit to Eravikulam National Park that is home to the rare mount goats known
as Nilgiri Tahr in local dialect. Proceed to Mattupetty Dam, Dairy Farm, Old Munnar
Town and the market area. Spend rest of the day at leisure and return for overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 04: Munnar - Thekkady (120 km/4 hours) Early
morning, check out from the hotel post-breakfast and leave for Periyar/Thekkady
for a visit to the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Mystical Kerala. On arrival,
check in at the hotel/resort. In the evening, proceed for a game-viewing cruise
along the serene Periyar Lake that allows you to get a view of intriguing wildlife
such as elephant, monkey, deer, wild boar and a variety of rare birds. Return
to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Thekkady - Houseboat - Alleppey Early morning, leave for a 24-hour exciting houseboat tour through Mystical Kerala. The houseboat (Kettuvallam) leaves Thekkady and crosses through the scenic towns
of Kumarakom and Alleppey. Stay overnight at the houseboat, your luxurious floating
villa that allows you to get close to the tranquil Kerala backwaters. The 24-hour
package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 06: Kovalam Leave for a post-breakfast tour to Kovalam, the scenic town of Mystical Kerala. Enjoy the whole day at the picturesque beach. Stay overnight at Kovalam.
Day 07: Kovalam - Trivandrum - Kovalam (30 km/1 hour) Early morning, leave
Kovalam after breakfast for a full day guided sightseeing tour to Thiruvananthapuram.
Visit its several tourist attractions including Museum Complex, Padmanabha Swamy
Temple, Science & Technology Museum, Veli Tourist Village, Aakulam Boat Club
and Shangmugham Beach. Return to Kovalam for overnight stay.
Day 08: Depart Kovalam The houseboat tour through Mystical Kerala ends at Kovalam
and you proceed to the Cochin airport/railway station to board your scheduled
flight/train for onward journey.
