Coconut Holiday Tour
Duration: 7 Nights / 8 Days
Day 01: Cochin - Thekkady (170 km/5 hours)Arrive at Cochin International Airport/Railway Station to start your
Coconut Holidays Tour. Our representative meets you at the
airport/station and takes you to Periyar/Thekkady where you check in
at the hotel/resort as per prior arrangement. Spend the remaining
day at leisure and stay overnight.
Day 02: Thekkady
Leave for post-breakfast game-viewing
cruise along the serene Periyar Lake that allows you to
witness the amusing wildlife from close quarters. Enjoy
watching elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar and a
number of rare species of birds. Return to the hotel and
relax for a while. Later leave for visit to the lush
spice plantations after lunch. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Thekkady - Kumarakom (130 km/4 hours) After
early morning breakfast, leave for Kumarakom, the next
destination in your Coconut Holidays tour. On arrival,
check-in at the hotel/resort along the banks of the
picturesque Vembanad Lake. The whole day is free to
relax at the exotic locale. You can also choose to take
a specialized Ayurvedic massage. Leave for an evening
sunset cruise and return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: Kumarakom
Leave for an early
morning bird watching tour at the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Spend
some time in the company of beautiful birds and return to the
resort. Proceed for a post-breakfast visit to the farmhouse. Spend
the remaining day at leisure and return for overnight stay.
Day 05: Kumarakom - Marari (30 km/1 hour)
Leave
for post-breakfast tour to Alleppey. Enjoy panoramic
views of coconut palm groves en route, a major
attraction during your Alleppey tour in Coconut
Holidays. On arrival, check in at the resort and spend
the whole day at leisure. Night stay at the resort.
Day 06: Marari
The entire next day is
free to enjoy your Coconut Holidays in Alleppey to the hilt. The
night during the tour to Alleppey is spent at the resort.
Day 07: Marari - Cochin (80 km/2 hours)
Check out of the resort post-breakfast and leave for Cochin. On
arrival, check into the hotel and relax during the day. Proceed for
a leisure boat ride in the evening across the Cochin Harbor. Then
move to Fort Cochin, the strategic township where you can visit a
number of historic attractions like Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue,
St. Francis Church, Chinese Fushing Nets et al. Return to hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 08: Depart Cochin

ends on day 08 and you check out of the hotel to proceed to Cochin
International Airport/Railway Station to board flight/train for
onward journey or back home.
