Backwater and Beach Delight
Duration: 05 Nights / 06 Days
Day 1: Arrival Cochin (40 Km-1hr)
Reach the International Airport or Railway station in Trivandrum, where our representative
will receive you and transfer to the pre-booked hotel at Cochin. The distance
from airport to hotel is 40 km and will take about 1 hours time.
Be at leisure
for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at Cochin Hotel. Day 2: Cochin
Enjoy at hearty meal for an early breakfast and start your day trip
to visit the major attractions of Cochin covering Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue,
St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, and other place worth watching at Cochin.
Evenings are kept free to go wild on a shopping extravaganza. Stay overnight at
Cochin Hotel.
Day 3: Cochin - Alleppey (Houseboat) (180 Km-5 hrs)
On
the third day of your Backwater and Beach Delight Tour tour, proceed to Alleppey
after an early breakfast. The distance between the two towns in about 180 km and
will take around 5 hours time to reach by road. Check-in to a Houseboat (Kettuvallam)
and enjoy a cruise along the famous backwaters of Alleppey-Kumarakom. Spend the
next 24 hours in your floating villa. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting
a glimpse of the village life from a close quarter. Enjoy the sunset and stay
overnight on the houseboat. The stay includes all three meals i.e. Breakfast,
lunch and dinner. It will definitely be a unique and unforgettable experience
for your lifetime
Day 4: Alleppey - Kovalam (180 km-5hrs)
On
the fourth day, checkout of the houseboat and proceed towards Kovalam. Check-in
at the already booked hotel at Kovalam. The rest of the day is kept for a leisure
trip at the Kovalam Beach. Over night stay at Kovalam Hotel.
Day 5: Kovalam
- Trivandrum The fifth day of your tour is scheduled for a sight seeing
trip of Thiruvananthapuram / Trivandrum covering Museum Complex, Padmanabha Swamy
Temple, Science and Technology Museum, Veli Tourist village, Aakulam boat club,
Shangmugham Beach. Over night stay at Trivandrum. Day 5: Nileshwar
After breakfast, proceed to Nileshwar. Check in Hotel/Resort & visit Bekal Fort to watch the Sunset, overnight stay at Nileshwar.
Day 6: Trivandrum Departure
(30 km-1 hrs) Finally, our representative will drop you at the Airport
/ Railway station as per schedule, thus signaling the end of your Backwater and
Beach Delight Tour.
